Principal's Message

Dear Shemrock NIST Tarapunja School Community,

A very hearty welcome to the award-winning India’s 1st Play-school Chain with 4,00,000+ Alumni and 650+ Branches in South Asia – SHEMROCK Preschool and the associates of NIST Foundation, NIST Tarapunja School Banepa – where our tiny tots will experience their first vision of the world while they learn many new things; a place where the first salutation of each new day begins with amusement and excitement.

SHEMROCK NIST Tarapunja School will nurture children with happiness, complete freedom, and the right amount of encouragement & guidance, so the tender minds develop a strong foundation for learning. To supplement rapid social, economic and technological transformation. Given such a dynamic situation, we have adopted the latest pedagogic principles, viz. enquiry, activity–based and problem–solving approaches to classroom teaching and learning, and will continue to evolve in the days ahead. Likewise, for the holistic development of our students, we are also strengthening our arenas of extra–curricular activities. In addition, the safety and well–being of our students are our prime concern. I would also like to partner with our parents/guardians, and seek their active participation and continued support in creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for our children at SHEMROCK. I appreciate, and express my heartfelt gratitude to all our parents for putting trust in us for educating their children. I assure our parents/guardians that we will make the Shemrock NIST Tarapunja School Banepa the first choice of parents to educate their children with international standards of learning in Banepa.

To supplement the learning materials, we have special edition books, customized workbooks, activity-based writing books, educational DVDs, etc. exclusively designed, developed & made available for our SHEMROCKites in Preschool and have a standard curriculum designed by experts and academicians of NIST Foundation for school level. These learning materials are carefully implemented by our capable and trained teachers with comprehensive & child-centered lesson plans which are researched & designed centrally at the Head Office, New Delhi and NIST Foundation, Kathmandu.

We focus on the holistic development of the child in a progressive approach where each child gets the opportunity of learning in a soothing environment. We emphasize the discussion about the challenges of the 21st century from the school level for their mental readiness to cope with the future consequences. As always, we acknowledge and value the feedback of our parents/guardians, and improve upon it.
